ArtsEdSEL supports a collaborative space to translate and build upon established artistic SEL work by engaging the broad artistic and SEL communities to achieve complementary objectives.
Objectives:
- Build a web of organizations committed to melding the arts and SEL to create lasting impact for PreK-16 students
- Convene organizations to strengthen ongoing partnerships and expand the existing network of those dedicated to artistic SEL
- Foster relationships with arts education and SEL organizations to translate and build upon established work
- Develop collaborations with a central mission of infusing SEL-based arts education and culturally responsive and sustaining practices as a tool for educational and societal equity
